Symptom

ABAP instance couldn't be started, following error message can be observed in dispatcher trace:

*** ERROR => MpiIInit failed: required shared memory size to big: xxxxxxxxxx Bytes [mpixx.c  123]
*** ERROR => DpInitMpi: MpiInit failed (2) [dpInit.c     1234]
*** DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpSapEnvInit: DpInitMpi failed
*** DISPATCHER EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN ***
