3402099 - AVG currency exchange rates are not delivered due to error messages.

User is getting following error message in retrieving the AVG rates from Market Data.

• You are not authorized to access resources " in App Request Historical Market Data - Datafeed (TBDJ).
• Rate Not Contained in Datafeed response.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

1. Open App Request Historical Market Data.
2. Select market data class Currencies.
3. Provide the From Date and To Date.
4. Market Data Selection.
5. Datafeed name Y001.
6. Execute.

Below we will discuss the cause for error messages:

1. Average rate is not enables in the Market Rates Management.
   
   
2. In the Request Historical Market Data app we have to provide the Date range. If the Date Range does not include the last date of the month the AVG rates are not fetched because the AVG rates are published on the last date.

Find the resolution for error message 1 and 2.

1. Enable Average rates through the SAP Market Rates Management application and then download them from the S4 hana system. Subscribed to the application, they can subscribe to the Market rates management application from the BTP cockpit in the same subaccount where the Market Rates service instance exists. Reference: Using the MRM - Configure Default Values Application .
   

2.  a.) In the Request Historical Market Data include the last date of the previous month in your date range selection.
    b.) Use the App Schedule Treasury Back Office Jobs to schedule the job template Request Current Market Data.
         i.) Select Currencies 
         ii.) Provide Instrument property: AVG.
         iii.) Datafeed name: Y001.
         iv.) Execute.
