3403264 - Target population criteria is not reflecting in RBP ad-hoc report for MDF object

When trying to export RBP permission role in ad-hoc report, some target population criteria couldn't be exported.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental. 

1. Go to Manage Permission Roles > Assignements
2. Select an assignment and edit it.       
3. Go to step 4 "Define a Target Criteria" and restrict the target criteria to object "Division" as per below:
   
   
   
   
4. Create a new report with domain "RBP Permission Roles Report" in Report Center and select this role in Filter section
5. Preview this report and see no target criteria exported like below:
   
   

Not all target criteria could be reflected in the RBP ad-hoc report.

Therefore, target criteria not showing up in ad-hoc report is working as per system design.

There are two types of scenarios that are not supported:

• Criteria is defined on object external code value, e.g. ObjectA.externalcode = value
• Criteria is defined on an object with association 'valid when' like below screenshot.
  
  The filter could be applied to object or field value. e.g. valid when = object, or validWhen.field = field value.
  
  
  
  For Type1 scenario, there is a workaround which is to change target criteria to ObjectA = object with externalCode = value.
  
  After changing it, the same RBP result can be exported on the report and the target criteria can also be represented. Please Check below screen shot.

  For Type 2 scenario, we don't support exporting target criteria which uses "valid when" as path in ad-hoc report for now.
  It is suggested to raise enhancement idea about it if customer have further concerns on this behavior.
