3403366 - Understanding certain behaviors encountered in the context of SAP Analytics Cloud Geo Map, using BW Live Connection

Symptom

The correspondent business scenario requires an SAP Analytics Cloud Story to be built.
It is wanted to use GEO map, in order to overlay multiple layers of business data on geo map with detailed geographic information to perform analyzes on your geographic data.

During the Story design, different unwanted behaviors can be noticed:

  • Geo Points are not visualized when selecting the geo dimension in the Geo map.
  • Once the Choropleth layer is selected for the layer of the Geo map, "No data available to displayed" message occurs.
  • Custom Choropleth layer cannot be selected.
