3403850 - RepServer crashes with Signal 6 in DSI EXEC - SRS 16.0

Symptom

  • These errors are followed by Signal 6 in the DSI EXEC thread with an empty stack trace:
    Thread DSI EXEC(151(1) RDS.rdb) infected with signal 6.
    Dumping memory trace.
    ***************STACK TRACE***************
    *****thread DSI EXEC(151(1) RDS.rdb)*******

  • RepServer produces a core file
  • Debug the core file, the following stack traces can be found 
    exc_terminate ()
    linux_catch_signal ()
    <signal handler called>
    ll_k_find ()
    hts_find ()
    alrm_cancel_alarm ()
    _sqm_add_message_to_block ()
    _sqm_write ()
    _sqm_write_wrap ()
    srv__start_function ()
    start_thread
