Symptom
You are trying upload the Employee Time recordings via Excel Add-In, however you get the error message as "No time agreement exists for employee"

SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Time Administration work center
- Go to Employees view
- Click on Actions - Record Employee Times from Microsoft Excel
- Open Excel template and enter the mandatory data
- Click on Save Data
- Excel Add-in may throw error "No time agreement exists for employee"
Cause
There may be some extra space in the excel file or when creating the employee, you might have accidentally added extra spaces to the Employee ID.
Ex: Employee ID might be in excel is xyz and Employee ID might be in the system is xyz# Or tis could be Other way around.
Note: abc referred as Employee ID & # referred as space.
Resolution
One reason for this error could be the presence of a space before or after the employee ID #xyz#, which may be stored as such in the backend of the system. To verify if there is a space before or after the employee ID, please search for the Employee ID in the Employee Personal Administration or Employee Time file. If the search does not work, try using *xyz* to find the employee. This will confirm whether there is a space before or after the Employee ID. Once confirmed, make the necessary changes to the excel file and update the Time recording accordingly.
