Symptom

  • Running the OS command ldconfig
  • In an environment where SAP ASE is running 
  • Returns message

    ldconfig: /opt/sybase/16.0/DataAccess64/ODBC/lib/libslcryptokernel.so.sha256 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.
