3404171 - Error when manually importing employee history records from EC

Receiving the following error when trying to import employee history records from EC: Another Employee Central History Processor Job for the same template is in progress

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Open variable pay template
2. Go to import employee history from EC
3. Click to import
4. Error message appears stating that there is already another job in progress
5. Check monitor jobs -> no jobs in progress

Release defect, this happens when there is an employee central history import job that is scheduled recurring in provisioning.

This is tentatively scheduled to be fixed in patch 2311p6. Patch dates can be reviewed on SAP SuccessFactors - Patch Details.

The workaround would be to terminate the job in provisioning and run it manually. After that you can submit the recurring job again.
