3404303 - Releasing transport with Tax Code customizing Check - SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

Symptom

From 2402 a new Veto Check prevents customers to transport inconsistent tax data in app Export Customizing Transports

Reproducing the Issue

  • The data can be created with the following:
Configuration ActivitiesID
Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases101016
Automatic Account Determination100297
Define Enhanced Tax Box Structure103011
Maintain G/L Account Tax Attributes for Time-dependent Taxes103423

  • The transport of data in the following tables are checked: T007V, FOT_TXA_T030K, T030K, FOT_ATR_TAX_GRP and FOT_GL_TAXDATA.

  • When trying to release a transport in "Export Customizing Transports" App, errors might occur

Examples:

Cause

View long text of error message(s) 

Resolution

  • Resolve errors in accordance with direction given in long text of error and Release transport.
  • In exceptional cases where it is necessary to proceed with the transport without correction of error, Online and Batch Messages can be changed to  -    SWITCH OFF MESSAGE in configuration activity  "Message Control in Tax Area" (ID 103887).

Only switch off the message(s) that are preventing the release of the transport. The other messages should be kept as is.

  • After import transport request to Test and Production systems the Message Control should be changed back to E (Error) for Online and Batch processing to ensure that inconsistencies are caught and corrected prior to transport.
