3404448 - 'You do not have permission to create a form' error not showing immediately when creating a future-dated job requisition from Position - Recruiting Management

• Users can successfully schedule a future-dated job requisition using a non-permissioned job requisition template without getting the permission error.
• The error 'You do not have permission to create a form' is shown on the position after the scheduled date of the future-dated job requisition is reached.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Navigate to Position Org Chart.
2. Create a job requisition from a position.
3. Select a future date.
4. Select a job requisition template for which you do not have the "create form" permission.
5. Click the Create button.
6. It shows a message "The Job Requisition has been successfully created."
7. After reaching the scheduled date, it shows an error ''You do not have permission to create a form' on the position.

This is working as expected.

1. Why users can see non-permissioned job requisition templates in the dropdown list?

In Role Based Permission (RBP), the 'Permission to Create Forms (selected templates)' will only influence which Job Requisition templates users can select when the Job Requisition is being created via the Recruiting tab.

Users can see all the job requisition templates when using Position Org Chart if the permission 'Select Job Requisition Template in Position Organization Chart' is enabled.

It is currently not possible to restrict the Job Requisition templates the user can use when the Job Requisition is being created via Position Org Chart.

2. Why the "no permission" error doesn't pop up immediately?

Future dated job requisitions are created by the Job Owner of the 'Position Job Requisition Processing' job in Provisioning. It validates the permission of the job owner when the job runs.

Be sure that the job owner has permission to Create Form in RBP to avoid error during the time of creation.

When the job finishes processing, the job owner is notified whether the creation of the requisitions was successful or not. An error message will be included in the email.

The KBA 2651887 - Creating Job Requisition for a future date using Position Org Chart has provided details on how the feature works.

In this case, the job owner will receive an email which shows the user (job owner) doesn't have the permission.
And in Position Org Chart it will show the error as below:

Please note: All of the errors when creating future-dated job requisitions are shown after the scheduled job runs, not just "create form" permission related errors.
