3404630 - Number of jobs generated by DTP not as expected

Symptom

One of the following symptoms is observed:

  1. Compared to older releases, the execution of a DTP seemingly executes more childjobs, than it is defined the "Number of Processes Parallel Processing".
For example, if a DTP is set to use 3 parallel processes, the system generates more than 3 BIDTPR* jobs.
  2. The DTP has N number of parallel processes configured, however in the end only X number of jobs are running in parallel, where X < N.
For example if a DTP is set to use 20 parallel processes, then the number of child processes, which are performed in parallel, is less than 20.
