3404642 - reverse-scale="true" does not sort candidates correctly in View Candidate Ratings page

Symptom

Despite configuring reverse-scale="true" in the Job Requisition template, the reverse rating still does not work and candidates are sorted from highest to lowest score.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

 1. Configuring reverse-scale="true" in the Job Requisition template
 2. Schedule interviews for several candidates
 3. Rate these candidates in interview central
 4. In the "View Candidate Ratings" page, candidates are still sorted from highest to lowest score.

Cause

The switch "Rating Scale Order: lower values are considered MORE favorable (e.g. 1 is better than 5) (Used for Dashboards & Reports only)" is not enabled.

Resolution

In order to have the reverse-scale effective, not only the reverse-scale option needs to be enabled in the Job Requisition template, but also in Provisioning, under Company Settings, the switch named "Rating Scale Order: lower values are considered MORE favorable (e.g. 1 is better than 5) (Used for Dashboards & Reports only)" needs to be enabled. Only then the reverse-scale option will start working in the "View Candidate Ratings" page as per expectation.

Configuration details as below for the Job Requisition template XML:

<assessment-scale reverse-scale="true">
<scale-id><![CDATA[IntScale]]></scale-id>
</assessment-scale>

In Provisioning > Company Setting, enable the switch "Rating Scale Order: lower values are considered MORE favorable (e.g. 1 is better than 5) (Used for Dashboards & Reports only)"
