Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the view overview.
  3. Search and find the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
  4. Select Edit Financial Reporting Structure.
  5. Select Import from Microsoft Excel.
  6. Import the XML file.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Observe the error messages.

Cause

One of the issues may be due to the hierarchy maintained in the XML file.

Resolution

You need to review the values that you have in the XML file.

The hierarchy maintained needs to be in number order. Review the data in the XML file and make sure all the values are in number order.

Review the column "Level" and make sure that the numbers are in number order.

Once you have made changes upload the file again.
