3404822 - Incorrect User Assigned to New Hire Data Review Task - Onboarding

The New Hire Data Review task is assigned to a user other than the expected responsible person, such as the Hiring Manager. The Onboarding Dashboard displays an unintended assignee for the task.

The responsible user for the New Hire Data Review task is determined by a business rule that assigns a Responsible Group. When the rule conditions are not correctly configured, the rule assigns a different group than intended, routing the task to an unintended user.

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Data.
2. In the Entity field, select Process.
3. Search for the candidate's Onboarding Process ID and open the record.
4. Under Process Tasks, locate the New Hire Data Review task and note the value in the responsibilityConfig field. This is the name of the Responsible Group currently assigned to the task.
5. Navigate to Admin Center > Onboarding General Settings.
6. Search for the group name identified in step 4, open the group record, and review the list of users assigned to it.
7. If the unintended user appears in that group, navigate to Admin Center > Configure Business Rules and search for the rule in the Onboarding scenario.
8. Review the rule conditions and adjust them to ensure the correct Responsible Group is assigned for the intended population.
9. Re-initiate a test onboarding process to validate the assignment.
