3404869 - Error C+055 "No authorization to work with material type XX" in Material Price Analysis

Symptom

When trying to access the 'Material Price Analysis' in Accounting 1 tab of Material Master data, the error C+055 "No authorization to work with material type XX" is triggered.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

Missing authorization to check price analysis.

Resolution

In order to check the Material Price Analysis, you have to assign the catalog SAP_FIN_BC_IA_FACT_MPRC_PC to a Business Role and assign that role to a Business User via APP 'Maintain Business Roles'.
