Symptom
The gross capacity of resource calendar is not getting updated with temporary change of work schedule which you have maintained for an employee
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
1.Go to Time Administration work center
2.Go to Regular Tasks view
3.Navigate to Temporary Change of Work Schedule
4.For particular employee maintain the temporary work schedule
5.Execute Run day closure for that particular employee
Now,
1.Go to Resource Management work center
2.Go to resource search
3.Choose button "show availability"
4.In resource calendar the gross capacity is not refreshed with temporary work schedule data
Cause
According to the configuration of the system, only time types with the "EMPLOYEE TIME ITEM CATEGORY" of 2, 3, 8, 9, or 14 meet the qualifying conditions to transfer the information to the resource calendar.

3 Leave
8 Vacation
9 Illness
14 Unavailability of external employees
Resolution
To reflect the changes in resource calendar, you need to use a time type with category 2, 3, 8, 9, or 14 for temporary change of work schedule.
