Symptom
As the Restore action is executed on the values of the archived data, there are concerns that restored data would not fit to the current data due to some realignment runs executed in the time between archiving collected the data and now.
Therefore this action is currently disabled on some UIs.
In order for SAP to allow restoration of data, customers need to accept the following agreement:
You're aware that when the Restore function is executed on the values of the archived data, it can potentially cause the restored data to not fit/be compatible with the current data. SAP can't be hold accountable for this and no incidents should be raised for this later on. If you agree with this, then we can go ahead and restore the archived data.
Resolution
Open a case with LOD-CRM-ARC or with the corresponding component for the Business Object. To enable the Restore action for multiple Business Objects, open multiple cases.
