3405471 - Failed to load library securitysubsystem. libsystem.so undefined symbol after upgrade of SAP BO BI or IPS.

Symptom

  • Unable to login to Central Management Console (CMC) after the upgrade of SAP Business Objects or IPS.
  • Error message:  "Account information not recognized: Could not reach CMS '<Server Name>:6400'. Specify the correct host and port and check for network issues. (FWM 20030)"
  • Below errors are found in in boe_cmsd.log file:

The library named securitysubsystem could not be loaded. The system error message is Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library  securitysubsystem and failed because of error: [securitysubsystem: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]. Second tried to load library libsecuritysubsystem.so and failed because of error:[/usr/sap/DS1/BOE/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/linux_x64/libsecuritysubsystem.so: undefined symbol: _ZN13BCMUtility40012base64encodeERSt6vectorIhSaIhEEPKhmbi].

  • CMS.exe will not run after the SIA restart.
