3405666 - Not able to edit the "alt calc. amount" field for condition type in pricing procedure

Symptom

Not able to edit the "alt calc. amount" field for condition type in pricing procedure. The field is un-editable.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

This is a standard system behavior. It is not allowed to do changes (such as: editing the "alt calc. amount" field) in SAP owned pricing procedures because it may endanger the consistency of the procedure in case SAP needs to enhance or adapt it in the future.

Resolution

The workaround is to copy the procedure into a custom name space and do the adjustments there.
