3405941 - User is not replicating from EC to C4C

Contingent worker employees are not replicated from EC to C4C using the standard package.

User record from Employee Central is not available in Cloud for Customer where the scenario of Replicate Employee from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is configured.

There are no failures in CPI and no web service message in C4C for this employee either. 

Change or modify an employee record in SuccessFactors so that it becomes available for delta run, but somehow this record is not appearing in CompoundEmployee API query result. 

1. Pick an employee in EC
2. Make a change in email address
3. Wait for the replication to trigger
4. The employee is not returned

As of iFlow version: 2.4.0 for "Replicate Employee from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central" and "Replicate Employee manually from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central", a new parameter is available to Include Contingent Worker as well.

Query has been enhanced in the iflow version 2.4.0 onward in order to replicate Contingent Workers.

Ensure you have the Replicate Employee iflows in the latest version.

1. Open the iflow "Replicate Employee from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central" in Configure mode
2. in the Configure "Replicate Employee from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central" screen, change the Externalized Parameters value:
   • Include Contingent Worker: true 

Points to be taken into consideration:

1. The Contingent Employees are technically equal to internal Employee in C4C;
2. There is no standard field to differentiate between them, in case of need, you must handle via extension;
3. Employee ID cannot be changed later. So, in case a contingent worker becomes permanent with a change in Employee ID, you must replicate as a new Employee terminating the old entry.
4. In case 3, the transactions assigned to old Employee ID will not be transferred to new Employee automatically.
