Symptom

The error below occurs when trying to refresh an AO workbook on one specific PC client.

ERRNO TEXT  WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused

Environment

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office 2.8

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open an AO workbook from local PC or BI platform or BW system.
  2. Refresh the workbook.
  3. If the workbook is saved locally, logon BI platform or BW system.
  4. Error occurs.

Cause

SAP GUI is not installed.

Resolution

Install SAP GUI on the issue PC.
