Symptom

***** Consulting KBA, not a suggestion of SAP solution support or SAP development *****

  • Using F4-value help offers standard search functionality in IW21, IW22, IW23 transactions but no simple- or advanced search options via enterprise search.
  • Fiori applications 'Find Notifications (F2071)' or 'Display Notifications (F5797)' will not return result despite notifications can be found through standard search in GUI transactions.
  • Missing basic- and advanced search functions through ESH.

  • In transaction ESH_COCKPIT connector MAINT_NOTIFIC_H~ is created but its status is 'Inactive' and/or Search checkbox is empty.
