3407032 - In Manage Batches app no data is displayed for Plant colunm

Symptom

When working with 'Manage Batches' app, after adding the column Plant to be displayed in the app, no data is displayed for Plant, the field is empty.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Batches app.
  2. Click in 'Settings'.
  3. Add column Plant.
  4. No data is displayed in Plant column.

Cause

Batch Management level in S/4HANA Cloud is set as 'Batch unique at material level'.

The plant information is only displayed if the batch management level is configured to be at plant level.

Resolution

The behavior is correct.

As batches have different batch levels, the display depends on batch level.

As the Batch Management level in S/4HANA Cloud is set as 'Batch unique at material level', the plant is not displayed.
