3407146 - The Journal Report Displays All Journal Entries Based on a Calendar Year

Symptom

Your fiscal year is not equal to calendar year. You expect that the Journal report to display journal entries according to the fiscal year entered in the selection, but the postings displayed in the report are based on the calendar year.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics - Design Reports.
  2. Sear and Open report: Journal.
  3. Select 'Posting Date: Current Year to Date'.
  4. You can see that all the postings in the current calendar year are displayed in the report.

Resolution

This is the current report design. If you select 'Posting Date: Current Year to Date', the report will display all the postings in the current calendar year.
