3407330 - Setting Up IRT Pairing to Newly Created Target Instance

Symptom

Since a newly created tenant won't have role-based permissions configured or any admin users, there are some further steps that need to be taken in the process of pairing to such instances during the IRT refresh process.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Resolution

  1. Creation of a super admin user who will have admin permissions assigned. Help Guide for Super Administrators
  2. Customers will then need to grant the IRT specific permissions to the super admin user via RBP. Help Guide including necessary permissions for IRT usage
  3. As the super admin user, set up the IRT pairing to the target instance. Pairing the Source Tenant to the Target Tenant in Instance Refresh
