3407832 - Location Import - Overrides the Business Address

When we do incremental load Import to "Location Object" via Foundation Data the "Business Address" section is cleared.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Foundation Objects

1. In Admin Center -> Import Foundation Data.
2. Download the blank template.
3. Choose the type "Location".
4. Incremental Load.
5. Choose file to import.

Product gap/system limitation.

1. Currently it is Expected behavior.

2. For improving the system design, an enhancement request is needed.

Workaround: While Importing maintain the data for all fields in the Business Address object. If the data is not maintained or the field is removed from the import file, the Business Address fields will be overridden.

To maintain the data Export can be carried out using the Foundation Object report (refer to KBA 2266216). The best approach is to build the Ad Hoc report with the same columns you find in the import template.

The other option is to enter the data manually into the field in the "Location Object" instead of importing
