3407937 - How to Create Custom Field in a Production Order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The business need is to create a custom field for example in a Production Order, that can be used to enhance applications which contain APIs and data sources that have been released by SAP to add custom fields.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Process Steps:

1. Open the Custom Fields app. 
2. Create a custom field in the business context where it is needed.
3. Edit a custom field and enable field usage. For more information, see Editing Custom Fields.
4. Publish the custom fields for transport.
5. Export your custom fields with the Export Software Collection app. 
6. Check the settings for communication scenario 'SAP_COM_0522' in the Communication Arrangements app
