3408905 - Document Overview On in ME21N does not copy variant article PO item to new PO

Symptom

A PO has items of Generic Article and its Variant Articles. When creating a new PO in ME21N by copying this old PO using 'Document Overview on', following system behaviors are observed:

  • It is possible to adopt the Generic PO item only.
  • It is not possible to adopt the Generic PO item and Variant item/items at the same time.
  • It is not possible to adopt the Variant PO item only.
