3408984 - The extension fields automatically fulfilled when creating a new Bills Of Material

When creating a new Bills Of Material and maintaining the Input Products, the extension field will be automatically fulfilled.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data Work Center.
2. Choose Production Bills Of Material view.
3. Click new->BoM.
4. Click add row under Input Products.
5. Input the Line Item Group ID.
6. Input any contents in the extension field ABC.
7. Click add row again and input the same Line Item Group ID.
8. The extension field ABC in the second row will be automatically fulfilled.

It is the expected behavior. If the extension field is created under business content "Production Bill of Material - Line Item Group", the value of this field will keep the same when the Line Item Group ID is the same.

There are two ways to avoid this problem.

1. When adding a new row in the Input Products, use different Line Group Item ID so that the extension field will not be synchronized.
2. Use an extension field created under business content "Production Bill of Material - Line Item Change Details" and then the extension field will not be synchronized even if the Line Group Item ID is the same. But in this case, it is necessary to input Line item ID so that the extension field will be active. And under the same Line Group Item ID, the Line item ID cannot be repeated.
