Symptom

When launching AO reports from BI Launchpad, BiOfficeLauncher is crashing and some of the following error messages might be presented in the traces or Windows logs:

  • "The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception";
  • "Application Error: 
    Faulting application name: BiOfficeLauncher.exe";
  • "Installed registry settings are corrupt (XLS) #";
