3409417 - The Activity status configuration have reverted back to the original statuses

The Activity status configuration have reverted back to the original status labels in Continuous Performance Management Configuration.

1. The current existing CPM Activity statuses are different than the original CPM activity statuses – Completed , At Risk, On Track and Not Started.

2. Disable and Reenable CPM from Provisioning. After this action you would notice that the Activity Status Labels have reverted to the original 6 – Completed, High, Medium, Low, Paused and Cancelled

This is a known default system behavior when CPM module is disabled and reenabled from provisioning. Hence you may be able to see a discrepancy in the Activity statuses in your CPM Activity view and in your CPM Reports.

In the reports, you may be able to see some Activities with statuses that are currently not maintained in the system.

Also, please note in CPM each Activity Status Label is mapped to a Status Id. The 6 original Status label and Id mapping are -
1. Complete – complete
2. High – high
3. Medium – medium
4. Low – low
5. Paused – paused
6. Cancelled – cancelled

If you are deleting any of the original activity status labels and are creating new labels, the system assigns by default a new activity status Id to the new label created.

Upon disable and re enablement, as these default Activity status labels and Status Ids are reverted back to the original Activity Status label and Id , any new labels created (with new status id) do not show on the configuration page. Activities with these labels will not show on activity view as well and will only show on reports with the old labels.

The original activity status label data cannot be retrieved from our end. We can only retrieve the current Activity Status Label an Status Id mapping from our database. The historical mapping before disable and re enablement of CPM cannot be fetched.

NOTE: Please take extreme cautious when disable/enable CPM or deleting any activity status. If the original activity statuses are deleted they can be "recovered" only by disabling/reenabling CPM. Whereas if custom activity status are deleted they cannot be recovered.
