3409660 - Error in report while using selection on field "Month (Logon Date)"

Symptom

You notice an error while using selection in field "Month (Logon Date)" in the report based on User Logon Activity 

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  • Go to Business Analytics
  • Search and Execute report based on "User Logon Activity" data source
  • Use the selection in the field "Month (Logon Date)"
  • Error is noticed on screen as
  • Technical error occured: An exception occurredInternal error in OLAP processor occured - restart your report!

Cause

With the selection used "Month (Logon Date)" it allows system to shows all the relevant dates from which year has be set up.
In most cases this 1910 as starting year and total enteries being fetched is 6000+.
This is the reason it dumps and runs out of memory.

Resolution

Use selection in the field "Between Logon Date" to run the report
