3409906 - Error message M7777 "Difference amount is too high" appears in the Analyze Differences app.

Symptom

The following error occurs when posting differences in the Analyze Differences app:

Difference amount is too high (M7777)

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Analyze Differences app (APP ID /SCWM/DIFF_ANALYZER), enter warehouse number and product number.
  2. Select the entries and click "Post".

Cause

This error occurs because the posted difference exceeds the inventory difference limit.

 

Resolution

The issue can be resolved as follows:

  • The inventory difference limit can be increased in configuration activity 102539 - Define Tolerance Group for Difference Analyzer.
  • If there is no limitation in above configuration and the issue persists, check and increase the inventory limit in configuration activity 106788 - Manage Tolerances for Physical Inventory Differences.
