3410190 - 2H2023 - Error "There was an unexpected error. Please try again, or if the error persists, contact your system administrator" when making changes via MSS Change Job and Compensation Info, Global Assignment or Hire - Employee Central

When making changes via MSS Change Job and Compensation Info, Add: Global Assignment Details or during Add New Employee wizard, error "There was an unexpected error. Please try again, or if the error persists, contact your system administrator" is displayed upon saving.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Employee Profile;
2. Click on Take Action > Change Job and Compensation Info;
3. Select the Effective Date > Choose the information you want > Save;
4. Error "There was an unexpected error. Please try again, or if the error persists, contact your system administrator" is displayed.

• Same scenario also happens via Take Action > Add: Global Assignment Details and using Add New Employee wizard.

Engineering team has confirmed that the fix for this issue will be deployed via PTCH-42764 on Dec 11th in Preview and Dec 14th in Production environments. Fix version is 2311p8.
