3410317 - "ResetAttribute" action tag bug

Symptom

<* ResetAttribute(standard attribute name) *>  action tag deletes the price of attribute in the configurator if attribute has a preselected value.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open CPQ application;
  2. Create a configurable product "TestProduct" and create an attribute "TestAttribute" with a preselected value and any price;
  3. Make a rule containing <* ResetAttribute(TestAttribute) *> and put a condition;
  4. Create a new quote;
  5. Go catalog and configure a product "TestProduct";
  6. Meet the condition to trigger the rule;
  7. Price selected is gone even if preselected attribute is still selected.

Cause

Bug in application: "ResetAttribute" tag is setting quantity to 0 when attribute has preselected value, that is causing attribute price to be 0.

Resolution

Issue will be fixed in future releases.
