3410611 - Is It Possible To Generate Output of Form Templates In Word Format ?

Is it possible to generate output of form templates as Word format instead of PDF format.

• SAP Business ByDesign
• SAP Cloud For Customer

For example customer invoice:

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
2. Navigate to the Invoice Request view.
3. Select & Open any Invoice.
4. Go to the Output tab.
5. Here PDF format is used for the output document. There is no option to use Microsoft Word or Excel instead.

The cause for this behavior is system won't support any other formats except PDF format.

This is the expected system behavior.

Currently system will only support PDF format for accessing form templates because as we render the document via Adobe document server.

Recommendation is to post this as an enhancement idea over influence platform.

The same is monitored by product management team, and posts are considered for next releases of the system.
