3410915 - Unable to sort values for a Calculation Input Control on a Story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • No sort options for Calculation Input Control.
  • Able to sort values for Filters in ascending, and descending order on a Story.
  • Cannot find a way to sort the values of a Calculation Input Control, on a Story in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.21.8

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, create a Story.
  2. Insert a Table, and select a Model.
  3. Add a Calculated Measure.
  4. Create a New Calculation Input Control.
  5. When viewing the Story, notice it is not possible to sort the values in the Calculation Input Control.

Cause

  • By design, there is no sorting option for Calculated Input Control in a Story in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Resolution

  • The suggestion is to propose a product enhancement on the SAP Customer Influence.
