3411023 - "403 Forbidden" error when creating HTTP Endpoint for SAP Cloud Connector in Landscape Management of SAP Cloud ALM

Symptom

  • To set up the Health Monitoring for SAP Cloud Connector in SAP Cloud ALM, it is needed to create an HTTP Endpoint in Landscape Management.
The details of the configuration steps can be found in the user guide: SAP Cloud ALM User Guide: Setup for Cloud Connector.
  • The SAP Cloud Connector has been connected to the SAP Cloud ALM Subaccount.
  • A connection has been created for the SAP Cloud Connector itself under the "Cloud To On-Premise".
  • When creating the HTTP Endpoint following SAP Cloud ALM User Guide: Setup for Cloud Connector it fails with the following error message:

[Error]: SAP Cloud Connector: [403] Error during the URL - 403 Forbidden: "Access denied to system <virtual host>:<virtual port>. In case this was a valid request, ensure to expose the system correctly in your cloud connector."
