3411092 - Workflow Approval: Attendance Request Quick Approval Card for Single Record Approval

Symptom I

• Want to add time type on Create Attendance Request Quick Approval card for the approver.
• Displaying Time Type label in the case of an attendance request (on the tiles to approve the workflow request > Approvals section).

Symptom II

• No Decline Button is available for the Create Attendance Request on the Approval Card.
• Decline button not showing for Approval Cards in case of Single Record Approval.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Employee creates an attendance request (Single Record Approval Scenario).
2. Attendance Request goes to the approver.
3. Approver logs into the SuccessFactors Instance.
4. Approvers cannot see Time Type in their quick cards (Create Attendance Request) as shown below
   
5. Also the Decline Button is not available for the Manager / Approver, to decline the request.

   Fields displayed on the Attendance Request Quick Approval Card are hard coded and there is no option for configuration on which fields to display.

   As of 2H 2024 release, Time Sheet Approval Center is generally available, where time management approvals with details are available to an approver (e.g. manager). In Time Sheet Approval Center, we have also added more context on the Single Record Approval. So, managers can utilize Time Sheet Approval Center more as the one stop shop for any time management approval, as they also see how those workflows are related to e.g. the time sheet. 

     
2. Symptom II
   
   "Decline button not showing for Approval Cards in case of Single Record Approval."

   This is expected system behavior currently. To get more options such as Delegate, Decline; Click on workflow URL for more options and then take relevant actions.

   Time Sheet Approval Center offers the possibility to quickly review all the time sheet approvals from one single UI and approve/decline requests more efficiently.
