3411141 - Goal Creation Error: Failed to execute 'append' on 'Headers': String contains non ISO-8859-1 code point.

Symptom

When instance is in a language different than en_US and trying to create multiple goals from goal library at once, there is an error message:

Failed to execute ’append' on 'Headers’: String contains non ISO-8859-1 code point.

Clicking save and ignoring the message causes duplicate goals.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into instance;
  2. Change language to Deutsch (German), for example;
  3. Navigate to Goals in drop down menu;
  4. Select a goal from goal library with multiple goals;
  5. When all these goals are selected, click to create;
  6. Receive error

Cause

Non ISO-8859-1 characters were not encoded

Resolution

This is tentatively scheduled to be fixed in the 2405 release. Release dates can be reviewed on Product Release & Road Map Information.

Workaround: Change the max-goals="x" configuration to a larger number
