Symptom
- An ASE database cannot be recoverd due to missing transaction logs.
- When checking the SID_BS.log, it shows dumps of transaction logs
- The dumps failed, but still the process was accepted as complete with messages in BS log showing:
Backup Server: 4.125.1.1: Archive API information for device='syb_tsm::<SID>.TRAN.20231010.061354.14667.000::000':
Vendor application name=Sybase-TSM API, Library version=2, Message=Tivoli Storage Manager error returned.
Message = ANS1302E (RC2) No objects on server match query .
Backup Server: 3.42.1.1: DUMP is complete (database <SID>). - When checking on TSM side, the transaction log with that name is missing:
