3411521 - Number of decimals shown on Data Foundation varies in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When viewing data in the "Data Foundation" you might notice that the number of decimal places might varies from 7 to 6 even if 7 decimals were setup at backend level.

SAP Analytics Cloud (All versions)

This issue may occur when you introduce data at parent level and that input produce decimal entries at child level.
Even if data is set up to 7 decimals in some cases it will show only 6 in the Data Foundation view.

• The "Data Foundation" feature is just meant to help you understand your own view of the data and not showing the RAW data itself.
• It is important to note down that this is ONLY affecting to the presentation of data and NOT to the data stored.
