You would like to know more of the change log of certain business objects in the system, like Accounts, Contacts, Competitors, Employees Individual Customers, Partner Contacts or Partners and you wonder how you can get this information in the system.

SAP Cloud for Customer

There is a change-history OWL which offers even an export to Microsoft Excel.

1. Go to the Work Center Business Partners.
2. Select the Business Partner Changes view.
3. Choose the query ABC (where ABC is the business object you are interested in).
4. Afterwards restrict the query further (e.g. via "Changes made from" or "Changes made to") and execute it.
5. You should also restrict the user if you know you are e.g. only interested in changes done by a specific user (like a replication-user for example).
6. If you see a message "Changes cannot be displayed completely. Reduce the number of search hits by restricting the search criteria" then you have to further restrict the query made in steps 3 and 4.
7. You can click on "more --> export to excel" and get a file with changes.
