3411742 - How to Change Language of a Technical Integration User

This KBA explains how to change the language of a Technical User.

• SAP Business ByDesign
• SAP Cloud for Customer

In SAP Business ByDesign:

1. Go to Application and User Management Work center.
2. Click on Communication Arrangements view.
3. Choose and click in one communication arrangement which is used by technical user.
4. Click in View all button.
5. Click on technical data tab and click to edit the credentials button.
6. In the drop down will be an option to select the language of the technical user.
7. Click on save button.

In SAP Cloud for Customer:

1. Go to Administrator Work center.
2. Go to General Settings.
3. Click on Communication Arrangements.
4. Choose and click in one communication arrangement which is used by technical user.
5. Click in View all button.
6. Click on technical data tab and click to edit the credentials button.
7. In the drop down will be an option to select the language of the technical user.
8. Click on save button.

• Note: This solution is not valid for standard Technical Users that are delivered by SAP.
• The language of e.g. the Technical User SAP_SYSTEM cannot be changed. As this user is involved in various internal operations, a change could lead to inconsistencies.
