Symptom

Dataset not working after transporting successfully on SAP Analytics Cloud system.

The following error appears:

"Error message: Couldn't load dataset. Please refresh and try again."

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (2023.21.8)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SAP Analytics Cloud.

  2. From the side navigation, choose Transport  -> Import.

  3. Under the tab Content Network Storage, select My Content folder.

  4. Select the package (Dataset) that you wish to import.

  5. Select the Import Options tab.

  6. Do NOT select the option to "Include Data

  7. Select Overwrite objects and data.

  8. Click on 'Import'.

  9. Open the new imported "Dataset".

  10. Error appears: "Error message: Couldn't load dataset. Please refresh and try again."

Cause

For "Datasets" it is mandatory for the data to be included, this behavior is same on live and acquired models as well.

Resolution

Select the option "Include Data" while transporting Datasets.
