3412034 - Troubleshooting Tips for Realignment Function (RF) or Release of Universal Journals (RUJ) in S/4HANA Group Reporting with Integration with Preparation Ledger (GRPL) active

After activating Integration with Group Reporting Preparation Ledger (GRPL) and preparing the first data transfer from Accounting to Group Reporting different issues appear. This KBA is aimed to give guidance on how to solve them.

1) Release of Universal Journals (aka Data Release Task) is not taking over any data/ incomplete data

2) Realignment Function shows errors in the log

3) Realignment Function ends with message ‘An error occurred. Please create an incident on component FIN-CS'

4) The performance of Realignment Function does not meet the expectations and/or the memory utilization is too high
