3412115 - Import connection to C4C to SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

While creating the connection from SAC to C4C it is throwing the error: Unable to authenticate.

Environment

  • SAC
  • C4C

Cause

  • The data service URL was not correct and it was not showing the response with the $metadata in the browser.

Resolution

  • Use the correct data service URL as mentioned in the KBA-2325562 - Frequently Asked Questions on C4C OData Services:
    https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2325562 
  • The data service URL should be reachable over the browser using $metadata parameter.
