3412186 - Crossboarding is not triggered - Non-mandatory fields are being required - Onboarding

The BPE admin is receiving an error in the BPE tile:

"Error in saving the HRIS request for the internal hire: status:(ERROR) msg:(User 1234567 has invalid values for these fields: [employmentInfo.custom-field])"

This field is not mandatory.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Login in the instance 
2. Proxy as the user that is receiving the error in BPE tile
3. Go to ToDo
4. Click in Business Process
5. There are multiple errors to "View user validation errors for () for Onboarding process trigger" selected one of that

The field is marked as mandatory in employee data model (example: under employmentInfo). 

Internal hire initiation validates based on employee data model for mandatory fields, which is the same as employee central pages.

Please mark this field as non-mandatory or provide data for this field from recruiting by mapping in recruit-to-hire data mapping page.
