3412209 - How to assign yourself to a BTP subaccount as a Global Account admin?

Although you have the Global Account Administrator role, you cannot access the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) subaccount (URL: https://cockpit.btp.cloud.sap) because you are not a member of that subaccount. 

SAP KBA ##2463966 - How to add a member to a subaccount in SAP BTP - does not help as the subaccount Administrator is not available.
