3412305 - How does 3rd Party Cookies being deprecated in Chrome affect SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Google Chrome has initiated the deprecation of third-party cookies.  This started in Q1 2024 for 1% of browsers  This can potentially cause issues with many SAC workflows such as

• Live Connections
• Live connections to SAP HANA Cloud will not be affected
• OData Technical Component (accessing OData sources through scripting)
• Embedding SAP Analytics Cloud (incorporating within another web app)
• Webpage widget (integrating other web apps within SAP Analytics Cloud)
• SAP Analytics Cloud embedded in line of business applications like: SAP S/4Hana Cloud, SAP Successfactors, SAP Ariba and other
• Custom Widgets
• R scripts using html content

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2024

This is caused by changes in the Chrome Browser

Use a different browser such as Microsoft Edge (Which will also eventually be affected - but is not affected currently), or use the Enterprise version of Chrome which is not part of the 1% affected by this change (Though it will also eventually be affected)
